Marley and Me

This movie makes me cry every single time I watch it yet I still watch it.Hands down this lovable,heart-warming film is my guilty pleasure.I loved the many sides this film has,the romantic side, the comedy side and most of all the sad,heart-braking side.

This film shows that unforgettable bond you grow with your pet,the love-hate relationship between Marley and Jenny(Played by Jennifer Aniston) was love too begin with, then slowly turned to hatred as he ran when he should have walked, ate her necklace and knocked over their children.Whereas the relationship between Marley and John(Played by Owen Wilson)was love from day 1,or some may say love at first sight. No matter what John loved his dog.The bond you have with your pet is one of the best things you will ever experience and this film shows this perfectly.

There is one scene in particular that really shows that. That unforgettable,tear-jerking scene when that bond finishes, when Marley’s life sadly comes too an end. This happens to every pet and the majority of pet-owners have to experience that dreaded trip to the vets yet this one scene still gets too everyone.

There is one quite in particular mentioned towards the end of this movie after Marley’s funeral, which again is an incredibly touching scene:

A dog has no use for fancy cars, big homes or designer clothes.A water log stick will do just fine.A dog doesn’t care if you’re rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb.Give him your heart and he’ll give you his.How many people can you say that about? How many people can make you feel rare and special? How many people can make you feel extraordinary?

In my opinion, the funniest scene was when Jenny and John were taking Marley too the vets when he decided to climb out of the car window and go for a walk.

There are just as many unforgettable, hilarious scenes as the sad ones.

I loved the casting in this movie and think Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson played their characters to a tee and portrayed the bond you get with your pet perfect.

I would reccommend this film too any dog lovers, any dog-movie lovers and the people who love a good animal movie but are prepared too cry a river,as I did.
